Discover Vila Das Rainhas Ginja
Sweetly, Tartly, Bitterly
Vila Das Rainhas is a Portuguese Ginja liqueur made by infusing sour Morello cherries, known as ginjinha, in brandy with a dash of additional sugar. While it retains many brandy characteristics, the finished product is much smoother than traditional brandy. The deep, lingering fruit flavor and aroma of VDR are a few of the reasons for its international recognition as one of the most beloved and popular ginjas in all of Portugal.
Round and velvety. Intense cherry aroma balanced with mellow sweetness. Hints of almond, cinnamon, and pepper. Slightly tannic lingering finish, with a silky mouthfeel. Best experienced and served slightly chilled between 57-59 degrees Fahrenheit.
