More than 100M Indonesians are marginalized by formal lending institutions, exploited by loan sharks, or do not have valuable possessions to be collateralized or pawned. The entire lending process is done via smartphone for user convenience, to maximize penetration nationwide, and to enable use of rich data for verification and risk assessment purposes.

At JULO, we strive to provide low cost loan product to the masses while ensuring that it's economically viable to our lender partners. This is achieved by exercising prudent underwriting assessments to ensure that approved applicants are both able and willing to pay back.

Using state-of-the-art machine learning technologies, our data scientists develop proprietary credit models that utilize both traditional and alternative data sources as decision criteria. Approved borrowers are assigned varying interest rates and credit limits according to risk-based pricing algorithms.

We also reward positive behavior by giving cashback bonus and allowing good customers to borrow a higher amount at lower interest rate at loan maturity.
